Microphone Settings
You’ll need a microphone if you would like to record your voice.

If You Don't Have a Microphone:
1
Use your laptop. Nearly all laptops have a microphone built in.
2
Some earphones can function as a makeshift microphone. Just plug the earphoes into the microphone jack on your computer and try it! You may have to speak a bit louder than you normally would with a regular microphone.
3
Every book on Tincan.com has prerecorded audio that you can send if you can't get anything to work.

If you find that you cannot record your voice even though you have a microphone, follow the microphone set-up instructions for your operating system.

Speaker Settings

If you can't hear anything, check the speaker volume and all wire connections. Make sure your computer is not muted. If nothing works, please refer to your speaker or earphone documentation.
